Designer / Developer at Keller Creative — Knoxville, TN — @canklefark

I was hired at Keller Creative two years ago as a designer and developer (the only developer on staff). I’ve built WordPress marketing sites, managed hosting through Gridpane, and won a 2nd place ADDY for tamcoonline.com. Three AS degrees: design, web development, marketing.

The role started shifting as we adopted more AI tooling. I wrote a script that syncs Toggl time tracking to Asana, built Slack alerts for datacenter maintenance windows, and put together a product management system that connects a client’s catalog to their WordPress site. Infrastructure crept in. I kept saying yes to it.

AI writes most of my implementation code now. What I focus on is the architecture: knowing what to ask for and whether the output is correct. I’m going through KodeKloud and working toward the CKA; the homelab is where I practice the things the agency doesn’t need.

Outside of work, I run HPDE and SCCA time trials. Working my way up to Sundae Cup. I volunteer at ARA stage rally events when I can.
